“Before the Dawn” - Motivation & Decoration

Greeting card with original textile artwork – handcrafted by me using reclaimed materials

This 15 × 15 cm (approx. 5.9 × 5.9 inches) card features a one-of-a-kind textile artwork mounted on a sturdy backing. Created with free-motion machine stitching, hand-painted accents, and layered reclaimed fabrics, it evokes the quiet stillness of night—just before the light returns.

The moon motif and stitched plant forms are enhanced with subtle metallic touches and textural depth. The quote – “It is said that the darkest hour of the night comes just before the dawn.” – serves as a quiet reminder that hope often arrives after hardship.

This piece can be displayed as it is or framed as a wall decoration. Frame not included.
